The Fastest of Upgrade Android OS is HTC

Android users are looking forward latest of new upgrade Operating System (OS) from the vendor. But each vendor has a different schedule for the upgrade. Every android device has a different user interface, this causes the upgrade process takes a long time. So, some android smartphones are still using the old OS.

A survey in Ars Technica revealed sequences upgrade android OS  is the fastest and the slowest. HTC is the vendor of the fastest in the process of upgrading the android OS. When Taiwanese vendors release updates this average was 4.8 months, the second of Samsung with an average of 6.9 months.

So, for other users to be patient in waiting for the android OS upgrade.

Moto G G is for Genius

When you get the Moto G you will start to feel disappointed from the off, the box is tiny, inside the box the phone looks small. There is no USB charger, but there is a USB cable, plus a couple of standard bits of documentation but thats it. No headphones either.
So the disappointment of the minimalist everything evaporates quickly, because whats inside is genius. 

The phone is fast and snappy, the Motorola apps that help you migrate from phone A to B push the process along quite well, there is also a +Motorola Mobility phone location tool which seems to work better than the garbage +Android phone finder, in the UK at least.

Display is crisp and vibrant, I cant imagine seeing anything this good for the price so low, and it has good viewing angles too even better than a few flagships I can think of. 

The inter changeable backs look great, we are awaiting a couple to arrive, but wow its tough to get it off, had to apply force close to hanging off a monkey bar. Behind the back cover is a battery and a slot of the micro SIM Card, you cant change the battery its kinda locked in, and the slot is side loaded rather then a drop in layout for the SIM.

Android 4.3 is loaded as standard, and the latest Kit Kat is on its way OTA according to some sources.


Moto G has a good battery life, thanks to its parts not needing a huge amount of power, we got a full day out the G with around 5hrs of screen time. Pretty impressive.

GSM Arena produced these stats on the Moto G and we can say its pretty accurate for web browsing, and standby does drain a little.

 So a good screen, decent battery, fantastic screen, whats bad ?

Not much to be frank, the camera is mediocre at best, and the video recording isnt brilliant. Thats about it. Sure its not the fastest phone on the block, its not got the biggest screen but for £159 - who cares. 

+Google  have helped Motorola create a phone thats almost as disposable as your razor but I cant imagine why you would want to change is as often - unless there was a misshape of course. No idea how durable it will be long term, but you have no shortage of cases and protectors to keep it safe, a good sign the phone is well received. 

If you were considering a mobile phone for travel or for the kids, or even if you want something for when you do sports (you might want to invest in the LifeProof case) then this IS the phone for you. Look no further, we love it.

After spending time with the phone, you will forget about that small box and meager accessories and most of all you will forget you paid peanuts for it.. How did Motorola do it !? However they did it, its a stroke of genius.

ASUS Padfone Mini is official

In the tradition of offering less powerful, and hopefully less expensive, versions of a hit product, ASUS has unveiled the ASUS PadFone Mini in Taiwan. So far, all the rumored specs have panned out, making this unique device somewhat of a disappointment but, at the same time, probably a more affordable alternative to those who want such a hybrid device.

The smartphone itself clocks a bit larger than previous speculated specs, with a 4.3-inch diagonal span. The resolution, however, was on the mark at 960×540 pixels. The phone runs on a 1.4 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 CPU, with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. Buyers will also be given 5 GB worth of ASUS WebStorage and can also opt to expand capacity with a microSD card. The smartphone has an 8 megapixel rear camera with an LED flash and f/2.0 aperture, while the front sports a 2 megapixel camera. The tablet dock measures 7 inches and has a screen resolution of 1280×800. It also sports its own 2200 mAh battery. Together, the contraption will weigh 415 g, combining the smartphone’s 105 g with the tablet’s 310 g weight.

While the PadFone Mini’s reason for existence might make sense on some level, offering buyers another size option, the recently seen PadFone E doesn’t. This latter one seems to be a hybrid of a hybrid form factor, offering a 4.7-inch smartphone that is only slightly smaller than the PadFone Infinity’s 5 inches but, at the same time, gets paired up with an equally large 10.1-inch tablet dock. Below is ASUS’ promotional video for the PadFone Mini, which shows the device with dual SIM support similar to the rumored PadFone E.

Details of the availability of the ASUS PadFone Mini have not yet been disclosed and it is unknown which Taiwanese carriers will be offering the device. It is, however, expected to sell for 11,900 NTD, or around $400. Three color options of chocolate black, white, and cherry milk were advertised but only the black models are available so far.
